A group card for no reason at all, which is the best reason

Nobody expects a card on an ordinary Tuesday, which is exactly why it works. Somebody had a rough week, somebody quietly did something brilliant, somebody is simply great and should hear it. Start the card and let everyone say so.

  • No accounts
  • Free to start
  • $3.99 once to send

Who a group card is for

  • A colleague who has had a hard month and needs reminding they are valued
  • Friends you have not seen for too long
  • A boss or team lead who never gets the appreciation they give out
  • Anyone at all. That is rather the point.

Why it beats the paper one

  • Everyone gets a full note, not the last two inches next to the fold.
  • Remote colleagues, ex-colleagues and family can sign from anywhere, in about a minute.
  • Names show as people sign, but the words stay hidden until you unlock the card. The surprise survives a forwarded link.
  • Delivered as an envelope they open on their phone, then a wall of messages they can keep, print or come back to.

Stuck at the blank note?

What to write in a card

  1. 1Start with why. "No reason, just thought you should know" sets the tone perfectly.
  2. 2Pick one true thing about them and say it plainly.
  3. 3Do not wait for a better moment. This is the moment.

Message ideas to borrow

No reason. Just thought you should know you are pretty great.

We noticed how hard this quarter was on you and how you never let it show. You are appreciated. Properly.

The whole team

Remember the road trip where the car died in Wales? Still my favorite weekend ever. Miss you. Call me.

Zainab

You make Mondays bearable and Fridays brilliant. That is a rare skill. Thank you for being you.

Ed

We finished a book without you and it was rubbish. Come back soon. The wine is waiting.

Your book club

You are the reason half of us stayed. Have a lovely week, you deserve one.

The bits people ask about

Do I need a reason to start a group card?
No. Pick "Just because" as the occasion, write a headline or use ours, and share the link. Some of the loveliest cards we have seen had no occasion at all.
How quickly can it be ready?
Ten seconds to start, a minute per note, and the reveal link is live as soon as you unlock and seal it. A card can go from idea to delivered in an afternoon.
Can the person reply?
The reveal page is theirs to read, and a lot of people reply by starting a card of their own. Pass it round, as it were.
